2010 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2009
I have been producing extra radio shows for my international audience which are now broadcast regularly through high powered shortwave transmitters in France and the Netherlands, some are also available on the internet. I usually post links on my Facebook page when they are about to happen.


OCTOBER 2009
I have recently returned from another trip to Greece and will be posting images on here over the forthcoming weeks.

I am also supplying some images for the forthcoming website of a top class accomodation complex on the Greek Island of Samos, I'll post a link here as soon as its online. I have also been asked to provide images for two publications in southern Greece, for the Messinian Association of Self Catering Accomodation Owners and also for "Inside the Mani" Magazine which is an excellent English language magazine all about the spectacular Mani Peninsular region of the Peleponnese.


SEPTEMBER 2009
I have had the pleasure to provide some images of rural Staffordshire for a major NHS presentation taking place soon.


GNOSALL SECTION ADDED TO GALLERIES
I have added a new gallery to display images of my home village of Gnosall. All of these are available for purchase either as simple prints or framed. SHOWTIME - The best of the West End and Broadway Stage Musicals, along with theatre news from the Staffordshire and Midlands area. Tuesday evenings between 7-8pm, repeated the following Sunday between 9.00am-10.00am.
THE HRS GOLDEN BREAKFAST. With more Golden Oldies than any other breakfast show on the radio, mixed with goss and trivia. Wednesdays 7am - 9am.

THE BRITISH DX CLUB AUDIO CIRCLE - a monthly tape and CD distributed to radio enthusiasts. Shaun is part of the editing team and presents the programme twice a year.

INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTS ON SHORTWAVE Shaun is regularly heard on shortwave radio stations broadcasting from France and Holland (and on the internet) with programmes of radio chat and rock music aimed at a specialist radio enthusiasts audience.


LOCAL RADIO IN STAFFORDSHIRE






We are still hopeful that the community radio project to get a local radio station up and running for Stafford will be revived in the future. Stafford is one of the largest towns in the UK remaining without its own full time FM radio station. This situation could develop further in the near future so watch this space for details.

COUNTY SHOW RADIO




COUNTY SHOW RADIO returned for the two days of the Staffordshire County Show on May 27/28th 2009, broadcasting from the radiobus on 87.7fm. We had a great time once again and I enjoyed my 6-8pm slot on both days.

Its is also hoped that SMART RADIO may return for a full 28 day RSL later in 2009. More information here as it becomes available and at http://www.smartradio.co.uk

Two of the very early programmes from STAFFORD FM are now available in podcast form, featuring Ray Crowther and other presenters. http://staffordfm.podomatic.com/

A new internet radio station aimed at Stafford is now broadcasting online. The station is called SUPERGOLD STAFFORD and is run by Steve Rowney. http://www.supergoldstafford.co.uk

And for some of the world's best music, dont forget that the legendary RADIO CAROLINE is still broadcasting, no longer offshore but nowadays from a landbased studio in Kent.
